Wei Han joined the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) as a researcher in June 2012, having completed her Ph.D in Economics at DEFAP Graduate School of Public Economics, which is jointly founded by Catholic University of Milan and University of Milano-Biccoca (Italy). She also holds a Bachelor degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (China).
During January 2011 to April 2012, Wei was a visiting student at HERC where she undertook the research to pursue her Ph.D degree. She is currently working on design and evaluation of healthcare systems in China. In addition to the health policy evaluation, she has a keen interest in measuring sickness-induced poverty as well as estimating measurement error in survey data.
