Abstract

Using data from English cancer registries and the Office for National Statistics (ONS), cancer statistics (incidence and mortality) are shown for Local Authorities and Cancer Networks. It aims to provide the public, health care professionals, commissioners and health service managers with basic information on incidence and mortality for the main types of cancers in men and women.

Cancer patients. Sample size depends on LA year of interest. For example, Barking & Dagenham LA had an annual count (incidence : All malignant neoplasms (exc non-melanoma)) of 646.7 between 2003-2005, while Bromley LA had 1316 in that same period.
