Community Health Profiles
- Abstract

Coordinated by the Association of Public Health Observatories, a set of 386 community health profiles heave been produced for the past three years. This provides a common set of 30 health indicators for every Local Authority (LA) in England. Profiles are updated annually and designed to show where there are problems relating to health or health inequalities. One aim of the profiles is to provide a consistent, concise, comparable and balanced overview of the population’s health that informs local needs assessment, policy, planning, performance management, surveillance and practice. it has an interactive atlas which can be used to compare indicators.
