Abstract

NDTMS North East is one of the nine National Drug (and Alcohol) Treatment Monitoring System regional centres across England. It operates from within the North East Public Health Observatory (NEPHO) which is located at University of Durham, queen’s campus, Stockton on Tees. NDTMS contains detailed, accurate and timely information and data drug and alcohol treatment activity.

Adults and young people. Sample size varies by SHA or DAT. For example number of effective treatment for all drugs (over 18's) in North West Strategic Health Authority in June 2006 was 32050 and 27882 in London Strategic Health Authority in that same time.
