Information: Judit Simon, Stavros Petrou

Judit Simon and Stavros Petrou have explored how different approaches to the starting point of life and various long-term outcome measures (LYG, QALY, DALY) impact upon the results of perinatal economic evaluations. They used the Magpie Trial (magnesium-sulphate for the prevention of eclampsia or pre-eclampsia) as their case study. A paper reporting the results of this study has been published in Health Economics.
