The Nuffield Department of Population Health contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. Based within NDPH, the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) is a thriving group of health economists/analysts, with a varied research programme and a well-established reputation as a centre of excellence. We are looking for a suitably experienced candidate to support the HERC economic research portfolio of evaluations in the areas of personalised medicine and genomics-driven healthcare. You will lead and plan the day-to-day running of research projects, developing new research methodologies, reporting on progress and presenting work by means of presentations and peer-reviewed publications. To be considered for this post you will have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in health economics, economics, statistics, mathematics, epidemiology or other quantitative discipline as well as a proven track record of previous research in a relevant field. You will also have strong analytical and data analysis skills in Stata, R or a similar package and an established reputation and peer review publication record.
