Liam Mc Morrow
Liam joined HERC as a researcher in April 2017 after submitting his PhD in health economics at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to this, Liam completed an MSc in Health Economics and B.A in Economics, Sociology & Politics at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Liam is currently working on the economic evaluation of the ACE trial, a large multicentre randomised control trial in China evaluating the effect of acarbose on patients with prediabetes and a history of cardiovascular disease. This work also involves exploring methods to model longer term outcomes of prediabetes and diabetes. Liam has a keen interest in diabetes and is also involved in a range of diabetes projects including: The Type 1 Diabetes Young Adult Study, the D1 now Study, and the DAFNE Exercise Module Working Group.
