Jacqueline Murphy




Jacqui joined HERC in November 2012 and works mainly on trial-based and model-based economic evaluations.

Her current research focuses on cancer screening in the NHS Cancer Screening Programmes (cervical and colorectal). Previous work at Oxford includes economic analyses alongside the UKUFF trial to compare surgical methods for rotator cuff repair (funded through NIHR HTA), and the ART trial in coronary artery bypass grafting techniques.

Before joining HERC Jacqui worked in consultancy carrying out economic evaluations for international health technology assessment submissions.

Jacqui teaches/tutors for the HERC courses for external participants, NDPH public health teaching (health economics) for 5th year medical students, and the NDPH MSc in Global Health (health economics/statistics modules). Jacqui studied mathematics (MMath) at Durham University, graduating in 2010.
