Joel Smith
Senior Researcher
Joel joined HERC in September 2015 as a Senior Researcher to lead, promote and co-ordinate economic activity within the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre. His research interests include the microeconometric analysis of health data and heterogeneous treatment effects. Joel joins HERC from the University of Edinburgh where his research portfolio has been supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), National Institute for Health Research: Health Technology Assessment (NIHR HTA) and the Chief Scientist Office (CSO).
