DPhil Student

Murong Yang started her DPhil at the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) at the Nuffield Department of Population Health in October 2019. Her research focuses on investigating the relationship between socio-economic factors and child mental health from early childhood to adolescence in the UK.

Prior to her DPhil, Murong graduated with a BSc in Finance from Shandong University in 2015. She participated in the programme of University Graduates Providing Volunteering service in Western China from 2015 to 2016 and did volunteer teaching in Pingxingguan Middle School in rural China. After this, she completed her MSc in Health Economics from the University of York in 2018 and another MSc in Industrial Economics from Shandong University in 2019.
