Wadzanayi joined the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) as a DPhil student in October 2021.
Her research focuses on the cost of non-communicable disease management to health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Outside Oxford, Wadzanayi is the Strategic Partnerships and Health Lead for Africa at The Rockefeller Foundation. In this role, she leads regional engagements and manages the Foundation’s health portfolio for Africa.
Prior to joining the Foundation, she was an Associate at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) where she worked with the Zimbabwean Ministry of Health to develop and implement strategies to scale point-of-care diagnostic services, m-health solutions and access to next-generation, antiretroviral medicines.
Wadzanayi holds a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University.
