Visiting PhD student and Recognised student

Yiqi Xia is a PhD student in Health Economics at China Centre for Health Development Studies,
Peking University, and a Recognised Visiting PhD Student at the Health Economics Research
Centre, University of Oxford.

Her research lies at the intersection of health economics, epidemiology and digital health, with
expertise in economic evaluation alongside randomised controlled trials, discrete choice
experiments, and health outcomes research.

At Oxford, she collaborates on the clinical and cost-effectiveness outcomes analyses of her
doctoral work which focuses on treatment effect of electronic patient-reported outcomes in
oncology, a randomised controlled trial in China.

Other research activities include developing digital health management plans for chronic diseases,
such as cancer, diabetes and hypertension, and epidemiology studies on herpes zoster and influenza
disease burden, along with their vaccination strategies.
