Abstract: 

Associate Professor Raphael Wittenberg will present on the future of financing long-term care from a UK perspective

Bio:

Raphael Wittenberg is an Associate Professorial Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His wide range of research topics include projections of demand for long-term care and associated costs, the provision of unpaid care, and modelling work on dementia care. Until recently, he was also Deputy Director of the Centre for Health Economics and Organisation in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at Oxford. Prior to this, as a Senior Economist at the Department of Health and Social Care he led a team of analysts who provided analysis and insight on social services.
