Dataset presents a range of information on drug misuse among both adults and children, which has been drawn together from a variety of sources. The data relate to England where possible. Where data for England are not available, data for Great Britain, the United Kingdom or England and Wales have been provided. The study is primarily concerned with the use of illicit drugs. The term ‘illicit drugs’ is used to describe those drugs that are controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
